Health & Dental Benefits
Gwynedd Manufacturing is pleased to offer a comprehensive benefits package to all permanent full time teammates, commencing on your first day of employment. We offer a variety of healthcare plans to fit your family’s needs, all plans include vision coverage. Gwynedd covers 75% of the monthly premium for teammates and their dependents. Through United healthcare we offer a PPO dental plan for you and your dependents with a calendar year maximum of 1500.00 to include 100% preventative and diagnostic care with designated network providers.
Paid Time- Off (PTO)
All full-time teammates accrue 4.00 hours of PTO per pay period for a total of 13 days per calendar year. These days are yours to be used however you wish; vacation, sick, and/or personal time. At your 5 year anniversary with Gwynedd Manufacturing your accrual will increase to 6.15 per pay period for a total of 20 days. At year end you can roll over up to a maximum of 3 days of unused PTO.
Holiday Pay
All full-time Gwynedd Manufacturing teammates, after 90 days of employment, can enjoy 10 paid holidays throughout the year. Teammates are eligible for 8 hours of pay at their regular base rate for the following holidays:
-New Year’s Day
-Good Friday
-Memorial Day
-Independence Day
-Labor Day
-Veterans Day
-Thanksgiving Day (Thursday & Friday)
-Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
401K Retirement Plan
Gwynedd Manufacturing offers a 401K savings plan to eligible teammates to provide an opportunity to save for the future and prepare for retirement. Teammates 18 years and older may enroll in this plan 90 days after employment with Gwynedd Manufacturing. We match half the teammates contribution rate up to 6%.
Life Insurance
All full-time Gwynedd Manufacturing teammates can enjoy group term life insurance at no cost! We cover the cost in full for life insurance for all employees commencing on the first day of permanent employment. Teammates will designate beneficiaries. Our life insurance covers 1 year of the teammates’ base salary.
Corporate Sponsored Events
Company Flyers & Phillies Season Tickets
Gwynedd Manufacturing has full season tickets to the Phillies and Flyers. These tickets are for teammates only! We have a Sports Committee, comprised of teammates who help create a schedule and assign games to all teammates. Phillies Tickets are in the Hall of Fame Club while the Flyers are in the Cadillac Grill. Our seats are in a great location with many added benefits including loaded tickets! This is always a great time for all teammates and a wonderful added bonus to becoming a teammate here at Gwynedd Manufacturing.
Free College Tuition
Gwynedd Manufacturing is proud to offer tuition reimbursement. We offer reimbursement toward tuition to any teammate who attends Montgomery County Community College. Many teammates are able to get awesome knowledge that they can bring back here to help further their career. Any teammate who gets a B or higher in an approved course will get their tuition reimbursed!
Company Paid Breakfast & Lunch!
In addition to all the great benefits listed above, we are also proud to provide quality meals to all of our hard-working teammates. Our in-house Corporate Chef, Brian, prepares a variety of daily meal options each day. Come into work 15 minutes early to enjoy a free breakfast consisting of a variety of three breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fresh cut fruit, cereal, coffee, tea and fresh orange juice. For lunch, and dinner to those who work second shift, Brian puts together a South Philly inspired menu. Hoagies, cheesesteaks, burgers, salads, wraps, and a variety of other South Philly favorites are available each day, to every teammate. Again, all at no cost to any teammate.
